Summer Series 2024

Themes will will be progressive and include:

Central concepts in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy.

Advanced techniques for accelerated treatment.

Improving psychodiagnosis.

Working with anxiety and defence.

Effective use of pressure and challenge.

Dealing with resistance.

Mobilising and accessing unconscious processes.

Therapy which takes place in the intimate immediacy of the space between a patient and a therapist - in the clinic room, in the now. Our aim is that workshops will have the same learning immediacy, with us all in one space.

Content of Workshops

You are invited to attend workshops for practitioners who are interested in latest developments in STPP, largely informed by Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). Workshops will include video presentations of clinical work and opportunities to examine applications of effective, evidence based interventions. Workshops are modular and content is progressive through well defined themes, building towards a comprehensive framework for clinical development. There will be opportunity for dialogue and discussion of the themes and their practical implementation.
